About LeatherDaddy Skin Co.
I make leather-scented skincare, fragrance, and home goods by hand for the leather community. Small-batch soap, body balm, candles, and incense. Everything is poured, packaged, and shipped out of one workshop in Albuquerque. I have been running this alone. I am opening a retail store and I need help.

What you would actually do
About half the week is production. The rest is fulfillment and covering the retail counter.
Production (roughly 50 percent)
- Batch soap, body balm, candles, and other product lines from my recipes
- Weigh, mix, pour, cure, label, and package finished goods
- Keep the workshop clean, restocked, and organized
- Follow safety procedures around hot wax, fragrance oils, and lye
Fulfillment and shipping (roughly 25 percent)
- Pick, pack, and ship Shopify orders
- Print labels, run the shipping station, handle wholesale outbound
- Restock inventory in the store and stockroom
Retail (roughly 25 percent)
- Open or close the store on scheduled days
- Ring up sales on Shopify POS, handle cash and card, restock displays
- Talk to customers, explain products, help people find their scent
- Sometimes solo shifts, sometimes with me
Who I am hiring
- 18 or older, legal to work in the US
- Reliable. Shows up when scheduled. Communicates when something changes.
- Comfortable with adult, queer, and kink-adjacent branding, product names, and customer conversations
- Comfortable being on your feet, lifting up to 40 pounds, and working with your hands
- Can follow a recipe and a checklist without me hovering
- Cares about doing the work well, not just fast
- Basic computer skills for Shopify POS and shipping software
Nice to have, not required:
- Retail, food service, or hospitality experience
- Soap, candle, cosmetics, or small-batch manufacturing experience
- Shopify experience
- You already know the brand

This is a W-2 position. Not 1099. Not commission.
Schedule
25 hours per week, including weekends. Flexible hours otherwise. We work out a schedule together based on what fits your life and the shop's needs.
